colors I can’t grow / have grown to love

I became obsessed with pastel, specifically pink, hair a few days ago.

In a dream sometime last summer, my hair grew in such a light, delicate shade of red that it looked pink, even bordering on lilac.

To see pastel hair pulled off with such sophistication is inspiring – perhaps not to the point of the temporal and financial commitment it deserves – at least not just yet. For now, I’ll gawk at these photos of pink hair realized properly- doesn’t it look like a fairy tale?
